Museum of Old and New Art. An Easter Parade with a difference.

Parading Easter.

The last MoMa of the season had a ‘rainbow’ theme on Easter Sunday, as the Easter Parade wriggled and chanted its curious way through the relaxed crowd lead by this dangerous, delightful dancer.

Small, elegant black tents of collaborative art, freshly cooked food, drinks, apparel, jewellery and a stage of live music. A heavy vibe of complete chill, from kids dancing and adults lounging with a Coconut Smoothie or other drink in hand, to the artful, funky, costumes of both performers and market goers.

I am personally looking forward to returning to this event next year – and that crunchy roll of duck and pickled veges. IMG_4205IMG_4199IMG_4198IMG_4190IMG_4206IMG_4194IMG_4169IMG_4196
