Perhaps a love of art, design and architecture is in the blood when you’re born and bred in Denmark. The joy of being able to attach memories of friends and family to individual pieces we have either made, collected or been gifted new or secondhand together over two decades, makes me love them that much more.

Having just moved house over the holidays, and wanting to capture the feeling of excitement I get from looking around and spotting our pieces in their new locations, I created this series of images, focusing on textures and detail through graphical compositions.

Inspiration is all around me in this South Hobart tree house, and I’m looking forward to a new year of much more where that came from – camera at the ready.
