Gliding along on the surface of the water world below, I held on tightly to the camera in my hand. The challenge, when choosing to capture the sunlight’s magic play on the surface whilst in a kayak, is to find a still moment for the shot whilst balancing your paddle on your legs and in the process, try to not drop your camera.
I adore patterns, and particularly those mad beautiful ones nature creates, which mostly takes my breath away.
It’s easy to forget to look closer, when you are already surrounded by incredible landscapes as far as the eye can see, but having already dipped ourselves in the pristine, fresh, tempered surf of February earlier in the morning, it’s constantly changing movement and diamond-like sparkles were impossible to ignore.
Meters to the bottom from the edge of the kayak and you could still see the ripples of the sand, which we walked at low tide that same morning, creating painting like images.
