Clear your mind. Maria Island National Park, Tasmania.

Island structures. From the man-made to natures own creations, Maria Island National Park is quite the feast for lovers of landscapes, architecture and lenses combined, with its historic ruins and still standing houses scattered across its windswept moors, mountains and cliffs paying homage to its history.

During our days there, we explored different parts of the island by foot and on bike. These images were some of the captures from one mid-day bike ride to the beach at Painted Cliffs, and one early am hike to catch the sunrise and it’s colour reflection on sky and land.

If you are looking to connect with nature, yourself and/or your family, then this historic, raw, beautiful place should be on your list of future explorations.
