Colour me Autumn. Tree Chameleons of Tasmania.

Look up, Autumn lovers!

The colours and light that surround us during the months of Autumn are much like the paintings of the great artists of our past. It’s almost as if the cold shock and the shorter days are offset by the stunning beauty that is the event of all the trees changing their leaf coats. We are a few weeks in, so for now I’ll buy that thought,

I can’t stop looking up and around when I’m out walking around the neighbourhood. On this particular morning,¬†poor Lucy constantly had to be patient on her lead, as the camera was being pulled out on every block. Spotting the most spectacular nuances of greens, yellows, oranges and deep reds, these three images are on my shortlist for this Autumn’s hallway entrance prints.

I love all the seasons, but this year I can finally say Autumn has me convinced – she’s my favourite of them all.IMG_4774IMG_4775IMG_4776
